The
Company
Image House was founded in 1997 to document environmental
and cultural issues in Egypt and to participate in raising
public awareness.
Since then, the company has drawn together a dedicated
team of professionals in fields that encompass multimedia,
photography, film making, and Architecture together
with writers, editors and translators. In addition,
we are able to call on consultants among which are distinguished
Egyptian and international herpetologists, zoologists,
botanists, geologists and a host of professionals in
the natural sciences.
The
Founder
Gabriel
Mikhail received his B.Sc. in architecture from
Cairo in 1980, his M.Sc. from Ohio State University
in 1982 and his membership in the American Institute
of Architects in 1990. Since his return to Egypt in
1997 he has pursued his lifelong interest in preserving
the historical architecture and cultural heritage of
Egypt, conservation of the environment and the wildlife
of Egypt.
Gabriel Mikhail is a veteran eco-architect, wildlife
photographer and has authored many publications. He
designed several protected-area facilities, some of
which are in World Heritage sites, in Egypt. He is the
CEPA expert for Egypt and the Ramsar NGO focal point.
